On November 28, 2019 we're sleeping out to raise critical funds to support homeless youth in our community.

Finding homes for our clients is our passion and livelihood, and we believe it's important to recognize the impact homelessness can have on an individual, especially a young person. We are proud to support the work of Youth Service Bureau in combating youth homelessness and providing other essential services to young people in need. 

The Youth Services Bureau has been a part of Rachel's life for 19 years. As a first-generation Canadian, she knows firsthand the struggles newcomers face when they come to Canada. Through YSB, Rachel was able to obtain help finding a job. Now she has a successful career and a family of her own. But other Canadians may not be so lucky. We firmly believe that as a community we can help every young person get on their feet by having the right people and services in place to help them. 

Our team very much believes in paying it forward. It's so important to recognize the opportunities we've been given and do our part to extend the same opportunities to others. That is why we donate monthly to YSB, and why we joined SleepOUT 2019. 

The need is great, which is why it's so important we all chip in. This year in Ottawa, more than 1000 young people will spend the coldest, darkest, and harshest months of the year with no place to call home. Sadly, the winter months are not the only battle for homeless youth in Ottawa. Many are suffering from trauma, mental health issues, poverty, addiction, and other challenges that contribute to homelessness.
